Resolve to make new year's resolutions a success in 2013!
by Dr. David Jockers
(NaturalNews) The new year brings about an obvious sign of transition and is a great time to reflect and make changes in life. Many individuals make resolutions to improve their health and quality of life but very few accomplish what they set out to do. Maximized Living has designed a seminar experience to help people resolve to make their new year's resolution a success.
According to the most recent polls, 45% of Americans make some sort of New Year's resolution. By far and away the most popular resolution is to lose weight and get healthy. Out of this group, 25% drop out and no longer pursue their goals after the first week of January. The polls indicate that only 8% find success with their resolutions by the end of the year.
Our society has a major health epidemic. Close to 20% of our gross domestic product goes into health care costs. Degenerative diseases such as heart disease, cancer, dementia, chronic pain, diabetes, etc. grow every year. We have more drugs, surgeries and radical treatments every year but as a nation our health gets worse.
The major culprit is that poor health and toxic lifestyle choices are socially acceptable. Most individuals know many of the right things to do but they don't do them because they believe the pain of change is more than the pain of continuing the lifestyle patterns they are currently on.
As we become more aware of the global burden that poor health has on our entire society it will become increasingly less socially acceptable to neglect this essential area of life. It is now clear that medical costs are the number one factor that is destroying America's economy.
When an individual loses unhealthy pounds and develops sustainable strategies to minimize toxin exposure, improve their mindset, nutrition, exercise, and posture they benefit everyone in the world. They have more confidence and are able to express more love and compassion to others. They are able to be more productive and effective at work and with their relationships. They take less drugs and need less expensive surgeries.
The most common factors that limit people's ability to accomplish their health goals include:
Poor social support Poor Discipline Money and Value
Access to Information & Resources Time Leadership
Maximized Living on a Mission to Help
Maximized Living is a group of health care doctors who are on a mission to improve the current health care system. The goal is to transform the way people fundamentally view and manage their health. They have certified doctors all over the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico doing large community wide seminars called Resolve in early February to help people improve their health and life.
These seminars will focus on helping empower people to maximize their mindset. The key strategies that are used here include anchoring past emotions of success with present goals. Emotions drive behavior and they can be used to benefit us or destroy us. Anchoring on previous successful times gives us an emotional boost that drives momentum. Time management principles and effective goal setting strategies are outlined.
Nutrition and meal plans are developed that focus on minimizing environmental toxins and developing quick and affordable strategies. Burst training principles will be demonstrated and outlined to help people develop a realistic exercise program to get in great shape in short periods of time.
Other topics on interest include the need for healthy posture and nervous system function as well as incorporating useful superfoods and supplements. Different lifestyle goals will be discussed with strategies designed to empower individuals to success in all areas of life.
