Clarification on the New Year's Product Discount Guide and Health Ranger endorsements

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

(NaturalNews) There has been some chatter about our 2010 New Year's Product Discount Guide (http://www.naturalnews.com/Report_Health_Pro...) that deserves clarification. Some readers have inadvertently leaped to the incorrect conclusion that products or companies listed in the guide are being endorsed by myself or NaturalNews. This is definitely not the case. Although many of the products in the guide do receive my voluntary endorsement (such as Boku Superfood), merely being listed in the guide is in no way a personal endorsement from myself (the Health Ranger) or NaturalNews.

Companies did not pay anything to be included in the guide. The only real qualification was that they needed to offer a substantial discount to NaturalNews readers, and they needed to offer a natural health-related product. This was done simply as a service to NaturalNews readers who had been asking us for discount product listings. It required a tremendous amount of time and effort on the part of NN staff to put this guide together. We did this solely as a benefit to you, our readers.

I have now updated the discount guide pages to include a disclaimer which explains that being listed in the guide is not an "endorsement" by myself or NaturalNews.

If I ever publish a guide compromised of my top recommended products and services, I will call it something like the Health Ranger's Top Recommended Products Guide or something similar. But this discount guide carries no such name and no such implication.

It is simply a listing of health-related product and service companies that are offering discounts to NaturalNews readers. We don't sell the products listed in the guide, nor do I personally vouch for them all (although I do voluntarily endorse many of the listed products, independent from this report).

One of the things I've learned from being NaturalNews editor is that some readers at times leap to the conclusion that everything appearing on NaturalNews.com is somehow personally endorsed by me. That's simply not the case: There are articles written by other authors that I don't agree with, there are comments posted by readers I don't agree with, and there are ads that appear above the articles that I sometimes think are just crazy (that's Google for ya...).

If there's something I personally endorse, you'll know it because I'll state it up front and without hesitation: "I personally endorse this ___" whatever it happens to be... Pure Synergy, Cherry Flex, Living Fuel, Ola Loa, etc.

If I don't make such a statement about something, then I'm not endorsing it. Just because something shows up under the web domain of NaturalNews.com doesn't mean the Health Ranger recommends it.

Just because I don't endorse a product doesn't mean it's bad, however. It may be that I haven't yet had the opportunity to try it. It might be that I'll endorse it later after I learn more about it. One thing that's always true about my product endorsements is that I am never paid to endorse a product. I have never, in my entire life, received even a single dollar in exchange for my endorsement of any product, service or company. All of my endorsements are 100% authentic and based on genuine personal experience. That's why they are so valued in the industry. You can't buy the Health Ranger's endorsement!

So please enjoy the discount guide we assembled for you. It contains listings of some fantastic products offered at great discounts for NaturalNews readers. Just don't assume I am personally recommending every listing in the entire guide. Thanks for understanding and for reading this clarification.
