Chemotherapy and Radiation Do Not Work Except to Make Money
by Jane Jones
(NaturalNews) Farrah Fawcett recently reminded the world that radiation and chemotherapy just don't work. When 40 percent of the population is expected to have a problem with cancer, and approximately half of them will die from it (from the cancer industry's own statistics), perhaps it's time for the population to recognize that what the medical establishment calls a "proven treatment" is only proven to leave about half of its recipients six feet under.
Of course, it gets a little confusing because the people responsible for selling the treatment, doctors in the establishment, have the ultimate sales line at their disposal. "You'll die if you don't," has to be one of the most fear driven and likely effective sales lines around. But it ignores some realities.
The most imminent reality ignored is research from the late Dr. Hardin B. Jones, Ph.D, and Professor of Medical Physics and Physiology at the University of California, Berkeley.
Dr. Jones conducted a 25 year study which took a look at the life spans of those with cancer and in the end concluded that untreated patients do not die sooner than patients receiving surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. In fact, he found that in many cases, those who refused these conventional treatments actually lived longer than those who took them.
Specifically, Dr. Jones found that the life expectancy of those who didn't use conventional treatments was about four times longer. He said, "People who refused treatment lived for an average of 12 and a half years. Those who accepted other kinds of treatment lived on an average of only 3 years." So, perhaps the "you'll die if you don't" sales pitch is a little misleading for the sale of chemotherapy and radiation. Perhaps a more accurate sales line would be, "you'll die if you do," but how many sales would result from that pitch?
Since conventional cancer treatments can run about $100,000, radiation, drugs, and chemotherapy certainly do one thing very effectively. They make enormous amounts of the money for the medical establishment. Forty percent of the U.S. population is about 120 million people and with a $100,000 price tag, these treatments are expected to make the medical establishment about $120 trillion dollars - in the U.S. alone over the lifetime of the current population. To help put that in perspective, $120 trillion dollars is about 8 and a half times the entire U.S. gross domestic product for 2008. No wonder chemotherapy and radiation are so highly recommended by the establishment themselves.
