Breakthrough wellness supplements, part two: Wellness Resources

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

Continuing with our series on innovative nutritional supplement companies, here's another company I'm raving about: www.WellnessResources.com. It was founded by Byron Richards, the author of Fight For Your Health, which is one of my top recommended books (a must read for health consumers).

Byron has 20 years of clinical experience as a nutritionist, and he's a technical genius when it comes to understanding how supplements interact with biochemistry to protect the body and support tissue repair, disease reversal and peak performance. I recently completed several hours of interviews with Byron (which will be published in a few weeks) and was simply astounded at the depth of his technical knowledge on nutrition.

He's put all the knowledge to work in formulating the supplements. Most importantly, Byron is dedicated to sourcing the most potent, highly-purified forms of each raw material that goes into the supplements. For example, while many "junk vitamin" companies products a multivitamin with super-cheap forms of vitamin B12 (cyanacobolamin), Wellness Resources uses what are called the "coenzyme" forms of vitamin B12 (50 percent methylcobalamin and 50 percent adenosylcobalamin), which are far easier for the body to assimilate. (Read more details at http://www.wellnessresources.com/products/daily_energy.php.)

With each ingredient used in their formulas, from minerals like calcium and magnesium, to vitamin E and specialty nutrients like Phosphatidylserine (PS) or hyaluronic acid (HA), Wellness Resources consistently uses the most potent and highly-purified forms of each ingredient. To me, that's impressive, since so many of the larger, more popular supplement companies tend to use the cheapest forms of ingredients available (like ultra-cheap calcium carbonate, which is about the same as chewing up sea shells).

Some of their products that I really like:

Skin Rejuvenator - It's not only for skin, it's for any kind of connective tissue (ligaments, tendons, joints and even the discs in your spine. Not only can this product help give you great-looking skin, it also offers protection and support to other systems like your nervous system, skeletal system and immune system.

Repair Plus is, in my opinion, a replacement for Vioxx and other cox-2 inhibitor drugs. This supplement uses pharmaceutical-grade Bromelain and Curcumin -- two natural medicines with powerful pain relieving effects for joint pain. (And that's not to mention the anti-cancer, immune-boosting effects of curcumin, too.)

Tri-Cal is a miracle-class supplement for children who have been diagnosed with ADD / ADHD. In the Tri-Cal supplement, calcium is bound to the amino acids taurine and glycine, both of which are calming amino acids taking up by the brain. The calcium goes along for the ride and helps soothe frayed nerves. To believe how well this works, you almost have to see the results yourself!

Wellness Resources also has a superior pycnogenol product, and outstanding hyaluronic acid supplement and a liquid Phosphatidylserine (PS) supplement that's far more potent than the usual powdered PS ingredients you see in other supplements.

I'm not kidding when I say that I ordered close to $300 in supplements from Wellness Resources just two days ago. Compared to the supplements I've been taking, these are simply more potent and faster-acting. If you're looking for supplements that actually get results (i.e. they actually stop the joint pain, or reduce cholesterol or enhance cognitive function), this is the place to get them.

Summary: Superior raw materials, high potency supplements that get results. Honest pricing, direct to consumers.
