Yohimbe helps people overcome fear four times faster than prescription drugs

by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor

In fascinating new research carried out at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute, the herb Yohimbe (from a tree bark) was found to help people with anxiety disorders overcome their fears in just 1/4th the time of pharmaceuticals typically prescribed for such conditions. It appears to work by altering the effects of adreneline in the body -- a hormone typically produced in response to fear or anxiety.

Yohimbe, of course, is more popularly used for the herbal treatment of erectile dysfunction. However, as this research shows, herbs can sometimes offer a complex array of health benefits that will only be fully understood when sufficiently studied. And unfortunately, even when herbs are proven to out-perform prescription drugs (which is almost always the case), the herbs remain all but unknown while the prescription drugs are heavily promoted and prescribed by doctors.
