(NaturalNews) The now former CEO of Peanut Corp. of America, Stewart Parnell, has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for his involvement in a salmonella outbreak cover-up that ultimately killed nine people and injured several hundred. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, these people ingested contaminated peanut butter that was made by the company's Georgia plant between 2008 and 2009.

Although Parnell was aware that there were leaks in the area's roofs, rodent infestations, mold and bacteria-positive test results during the time period in question, he urged business to continue as normal; he even sent an email stating that any delays in the process were costing the company "huge money."

Why aren't those involved in the vaccine industry or GMO lies facing the same harsh punishment as a peanut executive?

Food contamination is undoubtedly a serious issue. However, why aren't other people who are knowingly killing and injuring others in the name of greed facing the same kind of harsh punishment? Is the vaccine industry not tampering with the public's health? Is the whole GMO mess not harming health? Why aren't people involved in those kinds of cover-ups also facing jail time?

Kelly McEvers, an NPR host, hit the nail on the head when she interviewed an NPR justice correspondent, Carrie Johnson. Of the unprecedented punishment, McEvers asked, "So about this penalty, I mean, some of the top bankers and mortgage brokers in the country never faced charges let alone prison time in the financial collapse. I mean, but a peanut executive will go to prison for 28 years?"

There has been an increase in vaccine-associated polio paralysis; new outbreaks are developing in India, Madagascar and South Sudan. Aaron Dykes of Truthstream Media reported on this, noting that the World Health Organization, along with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, have continued to remain involved in distribution of the type of oral polio vaccine behind the paralysis cases. "They know that this vaccine will – statistically anyway – harm some children and could potentially spawn outbreaks," he wrote, "but they use it anyway, supposedly because less developed regions are not equipped to handle refrigerated vaccines that don't contain the live virus."

Where's the sound of the gavel coming down for these people?

Then there's the case of Marysue Grivna of Tampa, Florida. Just four days after receiving a flu vaccine in 2013, she developed a serious brain disease that rendered the once healthy ten-year-old unable to verbally communicate and eat on her own.

Is anyone serving prison time in this instance?

What about the fact that a slew of dangerous vaccine ingredients are actually listed on the U.S. Centers for Disease Control's vaccine additives page? The likes of formaldehyde, aluminum and thimersol -- a mercury compound -- lurk in various vaccines. These additives are linked to everything from Alzheimer's disease to myeloid leukemia.

GMOs wreak havoc on human and environmental health, but where's the jail time?

How about GMOs? GMO seeds are destroying food quality. More of the cancer-causing glyphosate herbicide is produced and sprayed to combat weed-resistant crops. The soil where such foods are grown is diminishing in quality, resulting in toxic runoff making its way to water sources. We're drinking it, eating it, and breathing it.

Nevertheless, we have yet to hear of anyone from Monsanto, DuPont and Syngenta -- key players in the proprietary seed market -- being carted off to jail.

The vaccine industry and those involved in GMO technologies engage in behaviors that lead to detrimental health consequences. Medical records mysteriously go missing and in some cases, parents are accused of abusing their children. Chemicals in herbicides are said to be okay by those who ignore the facts in favor of protecting Big Business (and their wallets). This has been happening year after year, affecting people around the world.

A backwards world

A 61-year-old peanut executive who knowingly turned a blind eye when it came to the public's health just like the vaccine industry does? Send him off to prison for 28 years. We wonder how many vaccine-related deaths or injuries and GMO-related health problems will unfold in that same time frame.
