(NaturalNews) Over the last several years, the political left of America has waged a culture war against Christianity, leveraging the mainstream media as a platform of hate speech that vilified and denigrated Christians at every level. This war against Christianity has infused its way into pop culture, broadcasting messages of hate and violence against Christians through Hollywood movies, Netflix productions, news programming and daytime television.

Targeting victims such as an Indiana pizzeria and a low-level government clerk named Kim Davis, the leftist culture war invoked and encouraged words of extreme violence and hatred toward all targeted Christians. Death threats from the left became commonplace, and any person who spoke out against abortion or gay marriage was instantly targeted with threats of violence across social media.

Now the leftist rhetoric against Christians has apparently turned to violence. The Umpqua Community College shooting that took place in Oregon yesterday was carried out by a violent murderer who reportedly targeted Christians, no doubt playing off the leftist hatred and intolerance that has been ginned up in the mainstream media over the past several years.

"A woman who claimed to have a grandmother inside a writing class in Snyder Hall, where a portion the massacre unfolded, described the scene in a tweet," reports the New York Post:

“The shooter was lining people up and asking if they were Christian,” she wrote. “If they said yes, then they were shot in the head. If they said no, or didn’t answer, they were shot in the legs. My grandma just got to my house, and she was in the room. She wasn’t shot, but she is very upset.

Religious discrimination and execution of Christians

Many other media outlets are also reporting that the shooter asked people to state their religion before shooting them. This means the shooter, a 20-year-old male, was engaged in religious discrimination murder by definition. He meticulously asked each person to state their religion, then he executed those who self-identified as Christian.

What kind of person hates Christians so much that he wants to murder them by shooting them in the head? Someone who watches too much MSNBC, probably, and has been made mentally ill by the vile hatred and intolerance spewed by the political left against conservatives and Christians. I have no doubt that this shooter was either taking psychiatric drugs or was deeply influenced by leftist media.

I wrote about this in April of this year, stating in a Natural News article:

The liberal media, which once demanded "tolerance" for gays and members of the LGBT community, has now become militantly intolerant of all the other beliefs it doesn't like.

Christian-bashing now seems to be daily sport for the media. It's also politically acceptable to bash white men, Southerners, soldiers, veterans, homeschoolers and parents who avoid vaccines.

Why is no one calling out the leftist media's own bigotry and intolerance being expressed daily through its hate speech and militant attacks on innocent Americans who hold non-leftist beliefs?

As someone who truly practices universal tolerance of other people's religions, lifestyles and personal beliefs, I've decided I will not remain silent while the leftist media claims to occupy the moral high ground on "tolerance" but is actually practicing the very same sort of bigotry and intolerance it once opposed!

As I've stated before, if your "tolerance" isn't universally applied, it isn't tolerance at all. If intolerance is wrong when directed at gays, African-Americans, women or Latinos, why is that same intolerance somehow socially acceptable when it is directed against Christians, veterans, white people and pro-lifers?

There's a good chance that what we all witnessed here was a mainstream media-inspired religious discrimination killing in America. And we're probably not far off from a day when more and more Christians decide to arm themselves out of a simple need for self defense in a society that leftist hate speech and totalitarianism has "fundamentally transformed" into a life threatening danger zone for those of Christian faith.

The leftist media, of course, will use this very act of murder (that they inspired) to completely ignore the real cause of the violence and instead push an agenda of gun control while invoking a rising police state that overrides all individual rights.

Also keep in mind this is the same leftist media that pretends organ harvesting from partial-birth abortions isn't happening and that vaccines don't damage young black children. The leftist media is an institution steeped in death and depopulation that ridiculously claims to want to support the safety of college students but totally abandons the protection of unborn babies and veterans. Shameless!
