(NaturalNews) To the progressive editorial staffs of the nation's top newspapers, news websites and cable news channels and network news broadcasts, if they don't cover an issue or an incident, it's because they believe a) it didn't happen; b) it might have happened, but it's no big deal; or c) it did happen, but there is nothing to see there so move along.

In other words, they engage in pure self-censorship. But why? Usually it's because the underlying issue of a story challenges their political orthodoxy or disproves it outright.

That's what's happening right now – as I write and as you read this – with the story involving Planned Parenthood's grotesque harvesting and sale of body parts and organs from aborted babies. The "big media" are essentially brushing it under the rug or otherwise downplaying it because they are pro-abortion (that's what being "pro-choice" really means) and they despise anyone who opposes the procedure on religious, moral or philosophical grounds.

Horrific criminal activity – ignored by the MSM

As noted by LifeNews.com, which opposes the procedure:

A taxpayer-funded organization reportedly selling baby hearts and livers should be a huge story. Not so, say the broadcast networks, which have devoted just 39 seconds to the story, out of the 9 hours and 30 minutes of news shows they've aired since it broke.

The broadcast networks censored an undercover video of Planned Parenthood senior director of medical services Dr. Deborah Nucatola explaining how her organization procures and sells the body parts of aborted babies. Of the three broadcast networks, only NBC has mentioned the footage released July 14 by the "anti-abortion" Center for Medical Progress (CMP) – in a mere 39 seconds.

Even if you personally approve of abortion, the act of selling fetal organs is a story, especially given the fact that taxpayers are providing some funding the organization committing the crime.

And that's another aspect to this story: Selling human parts is a crime, as reported by Breitbart News:

According to the US Criminal Code, the buying or selling human body parts is a federal felony. The commercial traffic of body parts from an aborted baby is punishable by up to 10 years in prison and/or a fine of up to $500,000.

(For the record, President Obama – who, as a state senator in Illinois voted early and often for every imaginable abortion procedure to be legalized, and even voted against bills banning infanticide – has yet to instruct his Justice Department to investigation Planned Parenthood regarding these charges.)

While this willful lack of reporting ought to enrage Americans interested in fair coverage of the issues, it shouldn't surprise anyone, given the MSM's historic negligence when it comes to the subject of abortion.

Barbarism is ignored for political correctness while fluff TV and phony race issues are plastered in front of our faces for weeks

When abortion provider Dr. Kermit Gosnell of Philadelphia was indicted for the first degree murder of three https://www.naturalnews.com/babies.html>babie..., the MSM could not have cared less, judging by the dearth of coverage. This, despite witness descriptions of horrific barbarism: a newborn abortion survivor "swimming" in a toilet "to get out," and one baby boy http://cnsnews.com/news/article/gosnell-tria... target="_blank">stabbed in the base of his skull and stuffed inside a too-small plastic box while still alive. Only after more than 50 days of public outrage and letters from multiple members of Congress did the three broadcast networks finally report the crime. But the Gosnell case was especially problematic for liberal MSM reporters and editors; not only was he an abortionist, but he was African American.

So, what did the broadcast networks think was more important than the PP story? CBS This Morning found time for "Cancer Survivor Battling Ex-Husband Over Embryos," as well as luxury Miami condos. ABC's Good Morning America examined the pressing cases of "Hitch-Hiking Bridesmaids" and Shanghai's Disneyland.

In other words, murdering innocent babies and selling aborted baby body parts takes a back seat to pop culture nonsense and reality TV (which isn't even real). Not only does this reflect poorly on the MSM, but such behavior by some Americans gives the world the ammunition it needs to criticize us as being hypocrites for demanding that they protect "human rights."

While we can't do anything about the sadistic behavior of some of our citizens, there is a way around the MSM's pathetic ideological self-censorship, and that is http://GoodGopher.com" target="_blank">GoodGopher.com, the world's first privacy-protecting search engine that bans corporate propaganda and government disinfo.
