(NaturalNews) President Obama has committed the government to the practice of race-based political and social engineering long after he leaves office, using the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in a bid to force more ethnic diversity on neighborhoods all across the United States.
As reported by Hoover Institute Media Fellow Paul Sperry, writing in the
New York Post recently, the effort will become part of Obama's legacy: It amounts to the federal government's unprecedented collection of sensitive data on Americans by race, with the end goal being "racial and economic justice."
What's more, Sperry notes, this extraordinary data collection is being done without most Americans' knowledge (or consent). In particular, administration racial analysts are mining and amassing personal data related to health, home loans, credit cards, places of employment, neighborhoods and even the manner in which children in schools are disciplined – all in an effort to document "inequalities" between minorities and whites.
Sperry further reports:
This Orwellian-style stockpile of statistics includes a vast and permanent network of discrimination databases, which Obama already is using to make "disparate impact" cases against: banks that don't make enough prime loans to minorities; schools that suspend too many blacks; cities that don't offer enough Section 8 and other low-income housing for minorities; and employers who turn down African-Americans for jobs due to criminal backgrounds.
Big Brother Barack wants the databases operational before he leaves office, and much of the data in them will be posted online.Get ready for the lawsuits – and social engineering on an unprecedented scaleThat, he says, will be done so that waiting packs of civil rights lawyers and urban center community activists can exploit them (and profit from them financially and politically), in their bid to demonstrate patterns of "racial disparities" and "segregation" – regardless of whether there is legitimate evidence of discrimination or not.
The centerpiece, if you will, of the Obama-led initiative is a database known as Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, which was built by HUD and was introduced in early July. The purpose is to "racially balance the nation, ZIP code by ZIP code," Sperry writes. The database will literally map every U.S. neighborhood using four racial groups – white, Asian, Hispanic/Latino or black/African-American – and then publish "geospatial data" showing racial imbalances.
HUD officials have proposed using nonwhite populations of 50 percent or more as the threshold for deeming areas as segregated.
Cities that receive federal funding and are summarily deemed to be overly segregated will be pressured by the government to change zoning laws to allow construction of subsidized
housing in affluent areas in suburbs, so that inner-city minorities can be relocated to those predominantly white areas.
HUD's data-generated maps will use dots to demonstrate racial distribution and density in residential areas; they will then be used to select sites for new "affordable housing."
The coming social upheaval will not touch the president who caused it"HUD plans to drill down to an even more granular level, detailing the proximity of black residents to transportation sites, good schools, parks and even supermarkets," writes Sperry. "If the agency's social engineers rule the distance between blacks and these suburban 'amenities' is too far, municipalities must find ways to close the gap or forfeit federal grant money and face possible lawsuits for housing discrimination."
But the kicker is this: The provision of data to civil-rights organizations and legal groups with a history of suing cities and other local entities, claiming discrimination.
Obama seems to want impose his vision of societal engineering on all Americans, and he means to use the legal system and federal housing law as the mechanism. In no uncertain terms, this is a blatant effort to re-engineer entire communities.
"By opening this data to everybody, everyone in a community can weigh in," Obama, ever the "community organizer," said, Sperry reported. "If you want affordable housing nearby, now you'll have the data you need to make your case."
You can – and should – read Sperry's entire report
here. The scope and breadth of this initiative is enormous and has implications for every town, community and city in the country.
While it's still uncertain what level of social upheaval this initiative will cause, one thing is already certain: Once they leave the White House, the Obama's won't be living in an "integrated" neighborhood the president will force the rest of us to live in.
