All dialog on vaccines halted by industry shills: speeches canceled after bullying and threats

(NaturalNews) An honest panel discussion on vaccines that was supposed to take place on June 16, 2015, at the Johnson GEO Centre in St. John, Newfoundland, has officially been cancelled after vaccine-worshiping troglodytes bullied the facility into censoring the event by barring it from being held at the venue.

Functional and integrative medicine specialist Dr. George Grant had been slated to give a talk centered around the event's theme, "Exposing the Medical Truth on Vaccines, Statin Drugs & Depression." But because Dr. Grant isn't a paid industry shill pushing vaccines, he was driven out of town by vaccination fanatics long before he even had the chance to arrive.

According to Canada's CBC News, certain members of the vaccine cult went nuts on social media after they found out that the event had been booked at the GEO Centre, a nonprofit "geological interpretation" facility. These medical fascists took to Facebook and Twitter with angry diatribes calling for the GEO Centre to be boycotted simply for allowing the event to be booked there.

Mind you, the GEO Centre takes reservations for event space from all kinds of organizations, typically without discrimination. But being the control freaks that they are, the vaccine herd became extremely unsettled at the thought that someone with a differing viewpoint on the safety and effectiveness of vaccines might be allowed to have a platform to speak.

Overwhelmed by the belligerent bullying tactics of those who didn't want Dr. Grant to tell a different side of the vaccine story, the GEO Centre, in cowardice, eventually caved to their demands and scrapped the whole event. In an announcement posted to Facebook, the GEO Centre had this to say:

"The Johnson GEO Centre is a place of learning... and sometimes we're the ones doing the learning," the group asserted. "No previous event booked at GEO ever announced a topic that sparked such concern, and we will determine how to best address such situations in the future."

When they come for the vaccine skeptics, will anyone be there to speak out?

The GEO Centre claims that it worked through the matter with Dr. Grant, who voluntarily decided to move to another venue following this massive outpouring of hatred against his planned visit. But as of yet, a new venue and event date has not been announced.

Jeremy Bennett, the event's organizer, did tell CBC News that Dr. Grant's haters were greatly misinformed as to its purpose. Rather than try to push an anti-vaccine agenda, the goal of the panel was to have an honest discussion about vaccines, allowing both speakers and attendees the opportunity to voice their concerns about, or support for, vaccines.

"It's very unfortunate that some people misinterpreted the presentation that was being held by Dr. George Grant," reads a statement from Bennett offered to VOCM.com (the story containing this quote has since been removed from VOCM.com, but a version of the article can be viewed through Google Cache here). "This presentation in no way was 'anti-vaccine.' The misinterpretation all started when a select group of people read the words, 'Are vaccine safe?' in the marketing material."

"The assumption was then made that this event was 'anti-vaccine' when in reality it was a panel discussion by Ph.D., Dr. George Grant in addition to medical doctors who were invited to the presentation. This presentation was a discussion about the benefits of vaccines and to also clear up important concerns from the audience."

Even if the event was about discouraging the use of vaccines, though, does that make blatant discrimination any more justifiable? The scientific literature is replete with evidence of vaccine-associated adverse effects -- heck, the manufacturer-issued package inserts openly admit this -- and individuals have a right to express this without threat or impediment.
