Health nuts brace for the next international group fast

LAS VEGAS, NV, Nov. 1, 2007 (PR NEWSWIRE) - The Baseline of Health Foundation today began preparing its international group of health advocates for their yearly group detox and welcoming new participants interested in a free, coached, group detox setting on www.jonbarron.org. The five-day liver detox will run from Wednesday, January 4th through Sunday January 8th. A warm-up colon detox starts in November/December to prepare the body for the liver detox.

"My wife Kristen and I have been doing a liver detox in early January as a way to clean out our bodies after holiday indulgences, lose weight, remove toxins, and break any bad eating habits acquired over the previous holiday weeks," said Jon Barron, founder of the Baseline of Health Foundation. "In 2002, a small group of health fanatics asked to join our routine. It was so much fun and easier for them to do with group support that it has grown 50% each year and to over 40 countries."

Participants enjoy the detox from their own homes across the globe and receive daily directions, free conference calls, answers to questions, and encouragement from the team at The Baseline of Health Foundation through web postings and emails. Each participant covers their own recommended organic food and herbal supplies. Some of countries represented last year included: USA, Canada, Sweden, Scotland, France, UK, The Netherlands, Hungary, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Peru, South Africa, Nigeria, Japan, Cyprus, Philippines, Thailand, Korea, Malaysia, India, and Singapore.

"We received hundreds of testimonials stating that we offer the most powerful cleansing program on the market," said Kristen Barron, a director at Baseline of Health Foundation. "Potent detoxes are incredibly purifying for the body and cause a lot of change quickly. Our group setting is a perfect way for new people to receive the support they need to safely bring their bodies back to a healthy baseline."

Liver and colon detoxes are growing in popularity as more consumers learn to avoid illness through proper prevention measures such as intestinal cleaning and detoxification. In 1985, between 60 and 70 million Americans were affected by digestive disorders. Today it's close to 100 million. Colorectal cancer, one of the most severe digestive or gastro-enterological diseases, is the second leading cause of cancer deaths. The Baseline of Health Foundation strives to reduce these numbers by recommending powerful health programs and practices that allows the body to heal itself.
