Put another way, whether a woman develops cancer is largely under her control. It's all about choices. If you make poor choices that promote disease, you'll probably become diseased. If you make informed, healthy choices, you'll largely avoid disease.
Like I said, this shouldn't be news: it should be common sense. But amazingly, many people (and even many doctors, can you believe it?) still don't acknowledge the link between lifestyle choices and chronic disease. Some people believe disease is just a random thing, or that it's entirely controlled by your genes. That's hogwash. Your level of health is entirely under your control, and this study just barely scratches the surface of what's really possible. If they had studied women who do everything right -- that is, who avoid all processed foods, who eat superfoods like chlorella, who take whole food supplements, who avoid sodium nitrite and other cancer-causing ingredients, who avoid all artificial fragrances in their personal care products, and other similar protections -- they'd find the cancer rate approaching ZERO. Cancer doesn't need to exist at all. It actually should be a rarity except for that fact that most women actually give themselves cancer by making poor choices in life.
