Bodies don't just wear out with old age, say researchers
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
This is good science -- and good critical thinking -- from a couple of
researchers who argue against the common myth that "old people just get
sick." It isn't true, these researchers explain, and they back it up
with sound scientific arguments. I've argued this for a long time, too,
promoting the idea that bodies don't wear out. In fact, your body
can stay healthy, flexible and strong for a hundred years if you treat
it right. What causes so-called "old age" is simply a lifetime of poor
nutrition (eating the standard American diet), lack of healthy
breathing, lack of flexibility, lack of body strength, and lack of
mental exercise, among other reasons. Of course, a person who
believes old age automatically results in disease will act accordingly
and show the expected results. But a person who understands that their
personal health outcome is entirely in their hands will achieve
phenomenal results and live a long, happy, and healthy live without
drugs, surgery, chemotherapy or even visiting a doctor.
I knew a man
who lived well into his 70's and had never seen a doctor or taken
prescription drugs in his entire life. He biked 20 miles, three times a
week, to his dying day. And he lifted weights daily. His nutritional
habits were less than ideal, however, demonstrating that he probably
could have lived even longer if he had consumed superfoods like
chlorella and spirulina or taken health-promoting nutritional
supplements.
